Japanese vs American Twitter

One of the cooler trends on Twitter recently has been the whole Japanese x American cultural exchange, which I've found very revealing in terms of the main differences between the two cultures.

The Japanese mainly seem to use Twitter to discuss culture, food, art, share anecdotes and stories, get nostalgic, and keep up with the other 95% of totally normal interests that are never mentioned on American Twitter-- and if they were to be mentioned, it would be with scornful disdain, as if those things were inferior activities (cuz people who regularly fry their brains with digital opium are too joyless to derive any pleasure from daily life).

I also saw very little political content-- and even the stuff I saw wasn't extreme, deranged, weird, deliberately gatekept, etc, it was all just reasonable stuff anyone could agree with. Not meant to be offensive or triggering.

This more normal focus ties into another trend I noticed, which was the total lack of irony, the widespread sincere tone, and the eagerness to please and interact in a friendly way with the other side on their behalf. It was very refreshing, and at the same time could not be more opposite of  how things are done in America.

The way it works here is that everyone just hides their feelings all the time, through a kind of ironic numbness, and so most people never really express anything.  The actually sincere people-- the ones who are willing to open up, show their feelings, and make an effort-- are a tiny minority of the population, including on the Internet, and to make things worse are always on the defensive, because there's a kind of seething bitter hater type (and general impulse in the culture) to tone-police any display of emotion, in order to maintain peak irony and hostility.

This results in a situation where the best you can hope for on most forums, websites, sub-cultures, etc is just an environment of atomized neutrality, where people refrain from witch-hunting and cancelling each other, but otherwise don't form real connections (since doing so would violate the rule against showing any emotion)-- and at worst, as everyone knows, seething hatred, pile-ons, neverending witch-hunts, etc.

I know that it's a very downer thing to say, and I don't mean to shit on American / Western culture so much in the midst of something positive like this, but it really does make me bitter about how sterile, anti-social, and hostile our culture has become.

  1. I also imagine that the Japanese are not as delusionally and insanely arrogant as Americans and Westerners have become (not a high bar to clear, in fairness), since I don't notice anywhere near the same level of pretentiousness, self-aggrandizement, and self-worship from them.

And this is also probably why they are actually more original and creative in their culture, compared to the incredibly banal and non-inspirational slop that characterizes our stuff these days-- things have never been more sterile and boring.

What I don't think most people realize-- and especially the Millennial faggots in charge of cultural creation (whether niche or mainstream)-- is that there's a direct correlation between the amount of time you spend jerking yourself off to how special, amazing, and unique you are, and being a totally generic mediocrity, which is what basically all Millennials are.

This endless obsessive self-focus not only isolates them from other people (since the arrogance is incredibly repulsive), but it also permanently stunts their personalities, meaning that they will never grow, develop, or learn. Just such pathetic dead-end 'people'.

  2. Another seriously shocking thing I remember from Rintrah's blog was that he once posted a video of a kid getting run over and killed, I think after the Trump election- I'm not quite sure what it was, since I didn't watch it- while clearly enjoying the sight and even viewing the kid's death as a justified punishment, perhaps for the crime of being American or just out of hatred for kids or whatever other social reject reason.

That was one of the big revealing moments, in terms of how sick and and decadent and depraved the whole place was- nobody there said anything, or condemned it (in many ways I think being in a group allows the junkies to feel emboldened, since they can now confess their own anti-social urges without fearing any condemnation, whereas if they were alone they would keep quiet about them).

They can understand and even resonate with that feeling and those fantasies perfectly, since they are also total losers who get off on the suffering of the innocent and defenseless, and view themselves as divinely-appointed agents of punishment against the sinful evil normies, here to act out some grandiose shooting— the only real disagreement is who has to be targeted, depending on the sensibilities / political affiliation of the shooter. But ultimately the same kind of scum.

They can't even rise to the level of redeeming themselves through pro-social behavior, and proving themselves to be good on the inside despite their off-putting / weird appearance— instead they turn out to be even more sick and disgusting socially / emotionally than you would assume from their appearance.

Obviously, if you are literally masturbating to videos of people dying as a fully-grown adult, then you are so sick and disturbed that it might just be more honorable to shoot yourself-- in any case, people like that are the LAST who should be giving lectures on morality.

  3. That also ties into the whole Operation Epic Failure / Epstein's Fury / Epic Faggotry, for obvious reasons which everybody can guess.

The war has already been a total military and economic failure— Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz, and now Hezbollah is collapsing the North of Israel. And the Houthis haven't even gotten involved yet!

There were so many endless videos where all kinds of super-expensive taxpayer-funded Military Industrial Complex slop gets blown to smithereens by Iranian flying lawnmowers (which are only a fraction of the cost!), that they actually had to stop showing them, because of how embarrassing it was.

Not to mention the American soldiers hiding under the beds in hotels, then getting eviscerated there, and finally just straight up fleeing the whole region.

Strongest army in the world, high IQ, Western civ, my ass... after that good old fashioned beating, all they can do is cry and whine.

'D-d-doesn't Iran know it's being a meanie by bullying its neighbors???'

'I-i-it wasn't very nice of them to blow us up with their missiles...'

'W-w-well forget about your stupid strait and your dumb oil, I don't want any of them, and I was just pretending to.'

Save it for your therapist! LOL.

  4. I really don't know who they thought they would sway, with this whole Buffalo Bill / Game of Thrones style propaganda openly advocating for war crimes and bombing children, and just acting like an insane Satanic school shooter in general— do they really think that Americans are so evil that they would actually get behind something like this???

Not only does it alienate the population, it actually makes them sympathize with 'the enemy', since they're shown doing the correct and moral thing— defending and standing up for themselves, against an unhinged nutjob. It's so revolting that not even the paid propagandists can work themselves up into earnestly supporting the war!

  5. To be even more autistic and obvious about things, when you watch Game of Thrones, or really any other generic show or movie or whatever, and the villain commits crimes, shows no sign of empathy or morality, and so on and so forth— this is done for a very basic reason, namely to build up antipathy in the viewer, so you can feel satisfied and happy when the villain is killed off.

None of this is very controversial, nor is it a very interesting or subtle observation on my part (LOL)-- it's just basic writing.

But that's what makes it even more absurd and retarded that the GOP and Trump and MAGA are going in the opposite direction, in terms of their propaganda— openly signalling their lack of empathy and even dialing up their sadism, proudly lashing out at innocent civilians, and with a nihilistic / who-cares-about-the-consequences attitude toward everybody else (Euro allies, Americans back home, etc).

Aside from the top 1% in terms of lack of empathy, psychopathy, bitter resentment against normal people, etc-- most of whom can be found on Rintrah's blog-- the vast majority of people are just totally alienated by this slop, since almost nobody wants to LARP or roleplay as a serial killer.

  6. I also forgot to mention the post he wrote praising the Columbine shooters (LOL). It may have been deleted by now, but I remember it, it's not something I'm hallucinating. It was another revealing moment.

It just goes back to what I said earlier, which is that whenever you read all of this self-righteous slop thundering down about the inferior normies, you're really just dealing with the waste products of society, and you should always ignore them and tune them out.

Somebody who is so depraved and pathetic that they sympathize with sadistic killers, and identify with those who target the innocent or defenseless, is just a lower form of life-- worse than a fentanyl addict or some generic vagrant trash, and really they should just be euthanized for the good of the human race and for the improvement of society.

  7. Revisiting this post in a calmer mood, I was also thinking-- what is the distinction between those who deserve bullying and social ostracism, and the ones who are worthy of sympathy? I mean among people who are weird, socially marginal, outside the mainstream etc.

I basically think it goes back to your attitude and personality.

There's such a thing as being ugly or shabby-looking or desperately poor, having had a bad upbringing or a physical deformity, or whatever else that would set you aside from other people and make you stand out for being weird-- but it can be overcome if you have a personality that is worthy of love and capable of building connections with others. In other words, assuming that you're focused on other people (not just your self), and that you're humble and polite and so on. Those people exist, and they can integrate in society and find their place.

Unfortunately-- as we've seen with Rintrah and his crowd-- the vast majority of misfits and weirdos are not like that at all, and are really the opposite of deserving of love. They're people who seethe with rage because other people didn't worship them in high school, and don't look up to them as adults, and they constantly fantasize about sadistically getting revenge on them-- anybody with such insane levels of rage and resentment is literally impossible to connect with, because there is no personality there (unless you also happen to be the incel / school shooter type, which is true of most of the audience).

  8. The comparison to fentanyl addicts is also accurate on a deeper level than just both of them taking drugs and being junkies-- though that's true, too (the difference being that fentanyl addicts are more humble and self-aware, compared to the delusional, in-a-constant-state-of-denial hallucinogen users, who cannot even look themselves in the mirror).

Pieties about "the unhoused" aside, when you actually take a look at the average homeless person, what you realize pretty quickly is that they're not down on their luck, but worth lifting up or giving a hand or whatever-- they're incredibly anti-social, hostile to other people / fuck-everyone-else, and really just another form of dirt or pollution that should be swept off the streets rather than fed and indulged. The same is true for social rejects in general.

  9. A lot of online slop also says that you should only focus on yourself, never think about anybody else, fuck it / do it, and so on and so forth-- this kind of misanthropy is becoming pretty widespread, at least judging by the state of the Internet.

The irony is that-- as I have said before-- your self-esteem and your personality is to a large extent determined by you interactions with others, rather than some idealized removed persona which exists in an alternate dimension (as the morons envision).

So the more you follow their retarded advice, the more you will turn into some kind of bizarre, twisted, repulsively shallow, egocentric freak-- who nobody will ever admire or respect-- until eventually there actually isn't much of a person left at all but, instead, just a set of self-focused fetishes and addictions (similar to trannies).
