A brief note about the BS-maxxers

(Yes, I'm aware that I promised to leave the subject alone and not return to it, but that's a premature New Year's resolution. In the here and now I want to re-hash what I've said.)

I'm posting a comment I wanted to make, but that deserves its own post:

The patron saint of all these retards and BS-maxxers is someone like Noah Smith, though they may not name-drop him specifically (because it would be too embarrassing), but if you look carefully, that's who they are modelling themselves after, whose approach they're imitating, and so on and so forth.

They spout this BS about Einstein and Newton and being the builders of civilization and science and whatnot-- but that's all fake, there is zero scientific inquiry or awareness of basic laws, and no discovery or curiosity whatsoever. They are the opposite of that, sharing a similar ideological position and wearing a similar costume, but when you investigate carefully you see them for the disgusting tranny freaks they are, in some cases literally.

The whole approach really took off during the 2010s, right as the mother of all tech bubbles was also getting started, and what it immediately devolved into was NOT figuring anything out, NOT solving any mysteries, NOT understanding anything, but rather coming up with new and innovative and bold ways of lying with numbers, rationalizing the behavior of elites / corporations / big government, and generally doing nothing except obfuscating and complex-ifying basic things.

Meanwhile the actual foundations of good knowledge and sensible decisions all faded away, or were actively destroyed.

Now after ten or fifteen years of this, and as the society and individual people's lives have only gotten worse and worse, nobody trust them at all. So the whole thing is now an inside joke for people who never really grew up after middle school, to jerk themselves off with their constructs and snicker at stale inside jokes, while the actual world that they are supposed to be improving is falling apart.

However de-coupling their brains from their copium supply would induce a massive withdrawal, and possibly kill them, so they'll keep huffing that garbage forever.

The actual "debate" is now simply about finding the next, so far unexploited source of copium, so that they can continue ignoring reality-- very similar to Mildred in Fahrenheit 451. Right now that appears to be A.I chatbots, and whatever drug they still haven't tried, but who knows what they'll descend to in the next 5-10 yrs.

The whole approach is deeply anti-intellectual and it represents a merger of the worst aspects of the verbal and physical / mathematical disciplines. A mega-tumor, as it were.

On the verbal side, they're remarkably and totally ignorant and dismissive of everything that's existed and contributed to culture-- zero interest in philosophy, linguistics, history / art or literature, etc.

For a bunch of Euro heritage braggers, they strangely seem to know almost nothing about Europe's architectural styles, painting, cathedrals, or 17th cent. poetry and literature. And to the extent their brains are even capable of approaching that stuff, they dismiss it!

Their actual "knowledge" consists of half-baked Social Darwinism (Nietzsche + Ayn Rand), something about the Crusades and WW2, and basically nothing else. I mean that seriously, they can't reference anything else, because they don't know anything else.

Their real skill lies in the art of marketing and P.R "window-dressing", ie making the bad things sound good, and the good things sound bad, in the service of the usual suspects. These B.S degrees either did not exist, or weren't anywhere near as common, awhile ago, but now that the whole economy is fake the notion that you need some expertise in order to make decisions has been thrown out the window: just make it sound nice, become some kind of HR creature, and who cares what any of it really means.

In the mathematical sciences, they don't represent physicists (unless it's some kind of schizo everything theory, which would allow them to tawk and tawk endlessly about nothing) or biologists or engineers or surgeons or anyone else that needs to think carefully and learn about complex systems.

They don't even have an amateur's interest in any of these subjects. Many of them are just discovering 2nd order effects!

It's all just a giant misapplication of statistics and really, and as they say about themselves, weaponized autism-- taking some stat out of it's original context, lying by omission or presenting it in favor of some B.S narrative, drawing all kinds of interesting but ultimately meaningless graphs and constellations of numbers, and then taking that retardedness to the next level by smugly ignoring the obvious signs of how lame and clueless and ignorant they are.

It's like allowing a group of 7r olds operate heavy machinery, and then expecting some kind of miracle result, rather than a total disaster.

  1. It's striking how few-- if any-- physical hobbies or interests they have whatsoever.

And again, I don't mean being some kind of master craftsman on social media-- I mean that they don't use tools to work on anything, whether cooking, or painting or drawing or making art, or repairing and restoring things, or gardening, or fishing or hunting, what have you. They have no interest in physical reality, and they smugly look down on people who work real jobs as being their inferiors.

All their hobbies are mediated through the computer, from playing video-games, to endlessly scrolling various feeds, to now bonding with and being entertained by a schizo hallucinating mentally-ill chatbot companion.

They have no way of learning basic principles through osmosis, the way normal people do, and since they're about as intellectually closed-off as it gets, they just wind up even more arrogant and clueless.

Far from being this utopian world where the god-like creators master the physical world and conquer the universe, the whole thing has devolved into a contest over who's more deranged and detached from reality, the A.I or the human users.

And since the whole system is closed-off from reality, it's just the insane interacting with and feeding off the even more insane, so they both sink further and further into derangement!

  2. The anti-productive, anti-technological, totally ass-backwards approach to a problem is to spend trillions of dollars in order to go nowhere and get nothing out of it. This is precisely what many of these intellectual heavyweights specialize in, the approach they champion-- designing ultra-complex systems that don't work and can't accomplish anything except for the bare minimum, and then pretending to be scientific geniuses and innovators.

That's why I rail so much against all this stuff, since it's part of a broader pattern.

    Insane investment, result: nothing

Trillion dollar AI, powered by massive databases... but it suffers from hallucinations / is insane, can't draw hands consistently (since it doesn't understand physics the way any 5 yr old does), and at best churns out homogeneous boring slop images / videos or manages to summarize the top 10 results on Google, instead of creating great art, solving scientific problems, or anything else a 'super-intelligence' should be doing.

A 20 yr. war, with all kinds of super-expensive futuristic military equipment, losses on both sides, dragging the whole society into an insane commitment... only to get kicked out and lose to a less advanced force spending a fraction of what you do, as in Afghanistan and Yemen.

Spending thousands on pharma-drugs, pills, experimental treatments, and so on... but not to become a super-human capable of amazing insight, but rather to occasionally hallucinate some schizo slop, and mainly just be able to make it through another day of misery. If only we'd invented a way of getting through life without endless drugs? Maybe with another billion dollars, they'll be able to figure it out.

Infrastructure projects that cost more than fighting the entire Second World War... and yet don't get finished, or accomplish nothing except making the problem worse.

Super-expensive bail-outs... to save corporations that contribute nothing, or behave like parasites.

And it goes on and on and on and on.

  3. I see a lot of leftists laugh and shake their heads on social media at Trump's fanatical and increasingly pathetic base, which claps and celebrates and cheers as he actively humiliates them ('no new wars'), or walks back every single promise made during the campaign-- but they should realize that that's exactly how they came across during the entirety of Biden's term, as well as the disastrous election that followed it.

That's why the politically neutral or non-partisan Americans no longer trust them, and why they have to rely on increasingly rabid fanatical leftists for emotional energy.

It's why they lost The Youth (Gen Z), and are painfully uncool and lame.

And of course it's why they even lost tons of immigrants, blue-collar workers, and even 'safe states' to a literal Republican neocon-- it was a protest vote.

The entire Biden-Kamala campaign should either be studied by future leftists as an example of how NOT to do things, or otherwise totally erased and dismissed and forgotten about, so that the stench doesn't attach itself to future Democrats or left-wingers.

They managed to pull of a difficult feat-- being as offensive and alienating as possible, even more than Hillary 2016, while not learning a single lesson from the past.

    ReplyDelete
  4. However judging from social media, it looks they're still sticking with that plan so far into Trump's 2nd term.

Doing the exact same thing, but maybe the result will be different? Genius.

Meaning, instead of offering fixes to placate voters, they're constantly yelling at anyone who isn't 100% onboard with them, as if the fucked up country were the fault of the voters.

Dialing up the level of polarization, humorlessness, and anger, rather than toning it down.

This pushes anyone who might be neutral or sympathetic to left-ism into either not participating, or voting for the enemy. It's not a winning move.

Not reflecting on any of their failures, learning from them (or learning from the enemy), and turning that into a winning campaign-- but rather doubling down ever harder on losing, and then turning everything into a punishment session: sEE wHAt yOU DID, tHAt's WhaT yOU gET, etc. It's really the tone of an angry defeated loser.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Telling yourself what you want to hear, or paying other people to do that, is really a more advanced form of masturbation, it's not this high IQ science that other people aren't intellectually capable of taking part of, it's more like a shameful crutch for sad losers.

And you don't fool anyone other than yourself, which makes the whole pointless.

All of those articles about how inflation was just 'vibes', and the Biden economy was roaring along greatly-- who did that convince, and who was that aimed for?

It turns out a bunch of Millennial retards with fake degrees living in NYC or SF, are not the base for a winning political campaign.

Or the ridiculous rigged polls showing Trump having a 50-50 chance of winning?

They should have been doing damage control, desperately trying to shore up their appeal to the voters, promising all kinds of changes, but because they were completely blind, they proudly and confidently marched into a massive L.

    ReplyDelete
  6. In order to win back their voters, future groups of populist leftists will have to purge all that neolib slop from their party, or otherwise they'll always be associated with them forever, and it'll be back to the situation they're in now where even a sleazy conman can beat them.

And maybe they'll even have to burn down the party itself-- who knows? The DNC can't even do a primary without rigging the whole thing (in the name of democracy), so why be loyal and polite to a bunch of cheaters and frauds?

Get rid of the angry tone, get rid of the condescending intellectual (but actually clueless) pretensions, and abandon the whole austerity angle.

That would be a worthy signal to the voters, from whichever candidate takes that step, that they're not just another hyper-partisan useless left-wing candidate.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Don't take this an endorsement for Republicans, it's more of an outline of steps that any legit left-wing movement should take in order to win back voters.

Anything other than that is just a fake neolib movement, trying to rebrand used goods and failed policies as UM AKSHUALLY new and exciting, and destined to remain a niche cult for hyper-online leftist warriors, with no potential whatsoever.

Having said that, MAGA by now is basically a humiliation / cuck / torture ritual, just insane levels of delusion about the state of American society on the part of both the leaders of the cult and their Kool-Aid-drinking supporters, where they try to dress every massive defeat as some kind of triumph, we're so tired of winning, etc while actually beating the shit out of you.

Even when they were talking on the campaign trial, I didn't imagine anyone could be that clueless as to the reality of the US military and its commitments or the American economy, I thought it was mainly bluffing, harmless talk on podcasts, acting tough in order to soften up foreign leaders, or whatever-- but it turns out they *that* brain-dead, and they're committed to destroying American society.

So Trump cuts 30 billion dollars going to USAIDS-- finally, AMERICA 1ST!!!!! And then endless celebrations, high-fiving each other, triumphal parades, tears of joy, etc. We finally did it, and you're a LOSER and a COMMUNIST / MUSLIM if you can't admit that! Take THAT globalists!

Then Trump bails out Argentina for 40 billion dollars ('America 1st'), wastes trillions arming Israel / Ukraine so they can keep losing their forever wars, is now getting ready to ADD to the list ('no more wars') by starting one with Venezuela, and then even insults them for asking questions or demanding results ('stupid people')-- dead silence, zero protests, and if anything here's how that's ACKSHUALLY a good thing, when you think about it.

'Here's how losing is winning, when you look at it the right way, and why getting cucked is good for you'-- thank you MAGA influencers, very cool.

I suppose 10-15 years of endless free fake money without having to do any work, plus spending all your time in a closed-off echochamber online, just totally destroys your ability to even form basic thoughts, to the point where they're so brain-dead and sleep-walking that they're doing the EXACT OPPOSITE of what the angry voters put them in office to do.

And all this insanity and betrayal at a time when the American public is angrier than ever, the consumer is tapped out, the middle class is crumbling, and even political assassinations are coming back... delusional to keep destabilizing the system, rather than act like an adult and try to guide it back to stability.

These guys and their neolib buddies on the left both have to be wiped out, for the good of the country.

  8. You know it's completely over for your America 1st nativist populist MAGA movement when its leading figures are scammers like Vivek, so-called techno-wizards like Musk who want every single American replaced with an Indian (and if you oppose that, that's racism), and fat weird gay model-UN debatelords like Vance. Plus a whole other bunch of other slimy parasites from the swamp, all jumping on-board so they can loot American society while Trump does nothing or even gives them a big thumbs up, like Rubio, Patel, Bondi, etc.

Their online representatives are a bunch of middle-aged deadbeat losers, some of them failed dads, others childless and single, but all bitter and angry. Massive faggot energy from these people!

They've actually managed to make the non-woke left come off as more masculine and in-touch with reality / reasonable, while letting them off the hook for the mess they made with Biden by making an even worse one with this moron.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I think one reason why they all have this insane seething hatred of Maduro, aside from the fact that he's a communist or a 'narco-terrorist' (fakest excuse ever), is really because he's an example of an actual leader who puts his own people first, takes care of them, and treats them with respect rather than allowing them to become slaves.

Imagine that, depriving the private sector of revenue, in order to funnel money towards your own people in the form of better / more dignified working conditions, higher wages, good healthcare, and so on.

Or proudly talking about the dignity of the working man.

And standing up against a foreign power, in the interest of national sovereignty and honor and dignity.

It's the opposite mentality of the half-dead corpses that make up the right-wing in the Anglosphere, who more or less openly despise their own people (especially the working class, but including anyone a real job that isn't scum like they are) and throw them under the bus at every opportunity, and all with this elitist smug contempt and superiority.

And I assume most of the consumers of this garbage, I mean in the audience and not the elite, are also in a somewhat similar position-- bitter, resentful, depleted of testosterone / dead-end losers or hollowed out and boring lifeless low-energy coomers, who stoop to jerking themselves off at the sight of random fishing boats being blown up, since at least watching others suffer gives them something to feel good about. Typical Reddit mentality.

It's not that I didn't imagine some parts of the society would slurp this stuff up, given what we saw in Gaza, but I did underestimate how much of the right would turn out to be worse than useless, basically addicted to abuse, and actively going along with it rather than standing up for themselves.

Whenever the war with Venezuela starts, I'll make a RIP post for the American right, and MAGA / Trump specifically.

  10. All these types being literal paid shills explains their role: they're like a giant H.R department, but for social media rather than an IRL work-place.

They're all part of some government initiative, or billionaire funding program, to try and spread their various agendas.

Meet the new media, same as the old media.

Their actual role is simply thought-policing the discourse, refusing to figure anything out, and waging emotional warfare against their opponents. Basically, enforcers of conformity. But since they're gay Millennials, it doesn't take place through assassinations or cloak-and-dagger campaigns or any of that James Bond-type stuff, but rather through snarky finger-wagging and snickering and bans and whatnot.

Eventually with enough of those morons on a platform (just like in a company), the entire thing becomes so dysfunctional that it just sinks into a stale conformist prison of witch-hunting, anti-innovation, and inefficiency, which is basically what Twitter is doing now.

    ReplyDelete
  11. The actual vision they're desperately trying to sell has totally disintegrated, and the public no longer believes a word they say.

If they were to try and present it sincerely, which they can't, it would either be laughed out of the room or actively rejected with hostility, and that's why they have to play all these endless games around the facts.

The previous system delivered prosperity, stability, and order. You could live a decent life, afford a home and a car and all kinds of well-made furniture and devices, and expect the society to continue improving over time and building on that progress. It was real and tangible and demonstrable, making life easier, better, and more efficient-- not endless technicalities that don't mean anything once you cut through the noise, or the useless super-complex expensive toys we now specialize in.

The current system is incapable of delivering on any of those things, for anyone. You're stuck living in your room or renting one from someone else, surrounded by all kinds of broken ugly poorly-made garbage, while the real things are all scooped up by wealthy outsiders or locked behind paywalls.

And the society outside your individual cell isn't some clean functional superior utopia-- it's a rapidly worsening, disintegrating, wasteland where more and more public spaces are filled with junkies and bums, the infrastructure is never repaired and just collapses with nobody doing anything about it, all kinds of important industries and scientific subjects are abandoned or forgotten, and so on and so forth.

After 40 years of this never-ending "progress", the average person is poorer, sicker, and less well-adjusted to society.

The current iteration of tech-progress is little more than selling various coping-techniques, things you can tell yourself, drugs you can take, V.R simulators to plug into, in order to ignore the ongoing collapse of society-- pathetic, and a surrender of their role.

  12. Going back to the Trump tariffs, they've managed to turn something that could be a useful tool into a retarded anti-populist campaign for waging war on non-enemies (such as CHYNA).

Very typical GOP / Republican slop, it's this obsession they have with distracting from their own role in destroying the nation by picking fights with random foreigners.

First of all, it's worth reviewing the current state of the economy. Contrary to the delusional morons on both sides smoking crack (sometimes literally) about how wonderful the US or the West is, how superior and advanced, the economy is currently in the toilet for the average person.

The vast majority of jobs are low-paying service-sector gigs (grocery stores, restauraunts, hotels, etc). The profit margins for this type of work are too low, so even if they expand massively (as they have) it will never result in a ton of high-paying jobs, but rather endless part-time low-paying gigs (like we have).

While I still think the minimum wage should go up, even just as a signal that a different regime is in charge and willing to break from the same-old same-old, these types of jobs will never create a prosperous middle class.

Then there are government or public sector-jobs, which can't be off-shored, and they do provide much higher pay and better working conditions. However expanding these sectors just adds more and more bureaucrats and administrators, which in turn only makes them more useless and bloated, since all they do is add fees and create fake 'projects' to justify their salaries-- that's how you get the homeless industrial complex, the college / healthcare scams, and so on.

Tasking them with fixing more and more of the problems that are created by corporate greed never results in actual solutions being implemented, it just adds to the debt, maybe makes the problem worse, and needlessly complex-ifies the economy.

A good solution would do the exact opposite-- fix the problem by going after the root cause, and let the various symptoms fix themselves. The retards will never do that, partly due to their own very low level of competence and intelligence, but also because they have huge financial incentives to do the exact opposite, ie add more and more layers of unsustainable complexity.

It's simply impossible to build a real 1st world society with a large middle class / a functioning economy out of service work + an ever-expanding NGO / managerial / email job sector, which is why all 1st world countries are heavily indebted and increasingly mediocre or even dysfunctional despite skyrocketing spending.

That's also why the majority of the population is either in austerity mode, spending as little as possible just to get by, or just dropping out instead, ie NEETs and bums and so on, only differing in how hostile they are to the average person.

    ReplyDelete
  13. The 'growth' of the past two decades has also been totally fake, entirely due to: 1) hauling in massive amounts of cheap labor from 3rd world countries, to fuel demand and create work for various sectors, plus replace the 'lost workers' who won't show up for the low wages being offered 2) an orgy of money-printing, basically creating it out of thin-air like a video-game cheat code 3) shutting down, melting down, or off-shoring the jobs that remain.

All this amazing and spectacular growth has not led to any gains, anywhere-- the goods and services in the economy are more expensive and they are worse.

Nor has the average person gotten paid more, as a result of this 'growth'. Wages have stagnated.

The neoliberals have managed to fuck up so badly that they've actually inverted the way a society or economy is supposed to work, where prices fall over time due to more productive methods being discovered, greater efficiency, etc.

Now that Western societies have accumulated a massive class of rent-seeking parasitic elites, they just swallow up everything, then government has to provide them with more and more money in order to keep them afloat, then they demand more, and thus-- spending more, to get less.

Inevitably all this dead-weight brings the whole thing down, which is playing out now in terms of massive inflation but also the broader social / political crisis of faith in experts and elite institutions, where its obvious to everyone (including the paid shills and rationalizers) that the entire system is incapable of delivering on its promises.

    ReplyDelete
  14. And yes, there are some high-paying opportunities like becoming an OnlyFans model or a email coordinator or HR-person or whatever.

The problem is that most of this talk about opportunities is simply a rationalization of the shift from an economic system where a stable job was guaranteed, to one where constant precarity is the norm, for everyone. However there are some high-paying jobs out there somewhere, and that allows them to distract from the awful state of the economy.

It's really a shift in the mind-set of employers from 'owning' the employee, ie making a large investment, but expecting that to last for life, and therefore having demands as well, to 'renting' them, where they squeeze whatever they can out of them in the short-term, before throwing them out and replacing them with someone cheaper.

In other words, it's as if they've gone from looking for a long-term partner to a string of random hook-ups. Or from making a meal with the good ingredients, to relying on cheap addictive garbage made with chemical slop.

A lot of the talk you see from cultural leftists about how the current system is so much less oppressive and convenient compared to the tyranny of corporate environments in the 50s and 60s, is really an effect of this shift. Big corporations don't care how sloppy their employees dress, talk, etc or how bad their service has become, because they have absolutely nothing invested in them in the first place, and that is rationalized as a gain in terms of personal freedom, in order to distract from the broader loss.

The high-paying jobs they constantly advertise are also only going to go to a handful of people, and contrary to the mantra about Darwinian fitness or whatever, usually not to the best but simply to the most well-connected ('nepo babies'), while everyone else is forced into a treadmill-style grind of working harder and harder for less.

It's interesting to note how the few cultural items to come out of the 2010s which somewhat resonated with people and were not stale remakes all revolve around this theme of desperate ambition and constant cut-throat competition-- the Hunger Games, Squid Games, Game of Thrones, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  15. The Chyna Chyna Chyna tariffs are simply a retarded 'cheat-code' style policy, with zero steps or planning, and just expecting your magical commands work, as if the real world functioned that way.

Putting tariffs on agricultural goods like coffee or chocolate is even dumber of course, deep retardation, for which there might not even be words in the English language. However I'm mainly talking about the goal of bringing back manufacturing jobs.

The state of the infrastructure is not addressed-- how are we going to move goods from point A to point B, when highways, railway tracks, roads, bridges, etc are all dilapidated and collapsing?

This would require massive government investment, at a time when we're heavily indebted (so not likely).

As usual Trump and the neolibs / neocons are actively against domestic investment, since it would be productive, and in favor of even greater foreign military investment, since that flushes down all the wealth for nothing.

Nor is the state of the workforce addressed. Manufacturing is once again not a magical thing, where the goods just drop out of the sky, you have to build up and train a workforce, and you need various secondary plants / supply chains providing the goods that are going to be combined into a finished product.

That's why back when things were made in the USA, there were all kinds of lumber and paper mills and steels mills and so on across the country, including in the Northeast (say in NE, for example, where my dad grew up) that would supply those goods to the more advanced furniture factories.

As all those jobs were off-shored by Reagan and co. in the 80s, the demand for those goods fell off a cliff, and so they shut down and were replaced by the Walmart-type jobs.

That means the workers with experience doing those jobs don't exist, or are in their 70s / 80s and close to retirement, plus the infrastructure needed for them has collapsed.

In fact, in a sign of just how destructive and evil and backwards the whole neoliberal era has been, we would probably need foreigners with actual experience to teach us how to make things, since we've lost that expertise ourselves as more and more generations have grown up in the college scam / fake degree + Walmart economy.

None of these things are addressed by the Trump tariffs, it's just impotent saber-rattling against Chyna, and so none of them will improve under him-- let alone will there be a miraculous industrial revival.

    ReplyDelete
  16. My best guess is that they're looking to squeeze some money out of their trade partners, while still maintaining their well-established base of 3rd world sweatshops, and honestly that they've simply gone insane and are in temper tantrum-mode rather than reasonable compromise or adult mode.

They know that they're at the end of an era, that the future doesn't look good for them at all, and that the younger generations are all against everything that they're for. Of course, you can play delaying games, you can hire fake experts, you can lie, and so on-- but ultimately those things won't change, and will get worse and worse for you over time.

It's the same with Israel, as I've described before: simply throwing a giant fit, blowing up as many people up, and dooming yourself in the long run, out of bitterness and anger. 5 yr old behavior, but elevated into national economic or foreign policy!

    ReplyDelete
  17. The look and tone of right-wing influencers also reinforces that, if you believe in physiognomy.

Just a bunch of crusty angry deadbeat middle-aged retards looking to get some anger out, snake-oil masculinity experts, and globalist scammers-- all assembled together. Real MAGA energy!

Like I said, at its heart it's just a movement of masochists, cucks, and faggots all trying to hide their spinelessness and chinlessness through beards, muscles, tough guy poses, and so on.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I think whenever we do get a post-neoliberal anti-globalist party, the real 'tariffs' should simply be insane taxes on any corporation using cheap labor, whether domestically or abroad.

Cheap labor is only 'cheap' from the point of view of the greedy corporation's board members, ie from the point of view of a short-term addicted moron who can only think for himself and doesn't care about anyone else-- it's fundamentally a destructive process, throwing workers overboard, destroying domestic industries, impoverishing the home nation, and creating alienating slums / neighborhoods of people that don't speak the language or know any of the customs of their home country while building sweatshops abroad.

A lot of monopolies need to be crushed too, whether through ending bubbles and forcing them to compete in the actual free market (a concept they eulogize, but are all against in practice), or anti-trust laws. That way they will never be able to hijack the entirety of government policy again, which will prevent these kind of wasteful decades-long mass poverty campaigns from taking place.

And many government programs will also have to be shut down, basically anything that isn't strictly necessary, since they're also massive wastes of public money and little more than feeding opportunities for bureaucrats. This is the difficult part, and the lesser known part, but they have to go too along with their corporate buddies, rather than both swell the debt while adding to the problems.

Then once we collect that money, and aren't wasting so much on all this useless garbage, it can go to funding useful programs that have a long-term reward, rather than retarded fake shit that has no chance of working out and require more and more just to barely function at best.

    ReplyDelete
  19. https://www.cnbc.com/2025/12/07/trump-tariffs-trade-war-china-manufacturing-supply-chain.html

Temper-tantrum mode aside, which is definitely true for the short-term damage they're inflicting with this retarded nonsense, this explains the tariffs on China and why they were followed with no domestic plan, or really discussing re-industrialization in general.

The propaganda goal is to blame foreigners for everything, rather than punish the greedy corporations that have off-shored so much over the last 40 years, since they make up the Republican Party's donors, base, etc.

They LARP as powerful warriors waging a righteous war on behalf of the American worker-- and then shift production to India, Vietnam, Indonesia, etc, all very poor 3rd world countries, meaning tons of opportunities for the sweatshop-builders.

They're also probably anticipating a war over Taiwan in the future, and trying to get out of there before it breaks out.
