This is a short intro post, and I'll write more in the comments section below since the various ideas I have are too extensive to put in one single post.
This is another area where I miraculously got lucky thanks to my parents, who did me a big favor by not allowing me to use any Internet devices until a certain age (which I hated at the time) and pushing me to read and think about things myself. I used to project this onto others, assuming they'd also grown up like me, and only as I've started to learn more have I realized what a disaster the entire society has become.
I'm not delusional enough to think people will take my suggestions-- in fact, I imagine everything will continue to get even worse, as the collapse continues-- but it's worth saying anyways. It's more for anyone from the future, as well as any people alive now who have managed to hold onto their personality in the face of the evil society (which increasingly tries to take away people's dignity by turning them into addicts and consumers of various kinds and torturing them with a diet of fake garbage instead of real nourishing food, both literally and figuratively).
The main take-away is that any Millennials and Zoomers-- who are not actively in denial-- must RETVRN to books (physical books) and repent and refrain from spending their entire lives plugged into online opium 24/7. Ideally, they must also RETVRN to shopping around for them in a physical store rather than buying online. You also don't necessarily have to break the bank by buying new, there are plenty of thrift stores or used book-stores or antique stores with interesting high-quality stuff you would never have been exposed to otherwise.
Even if you're too stubborn to change, and too smart to ever learn anything (like a lot of high IQ modern people), my advice is to push your kids or those in the broader community, if you don't have them yourself, in a more interesting direction, rather than condemn them to an endless diet of brain-rotting retarded digital slop.
A major cause of the total collapse of knowledge, creativity, insight, expertise, etc and our entering this new era of widespread hopelessly-retarded smug ignorance, has been the abandonment of books in favor of the Internet. You will be doing yourself a favor by escaping the fake treadmill / closed loop of porn, propaganda, and social media, and developing your individual interests, instead of becoming another arrogant clueless generic midwit dumping his or her slop on the manure pile of social media platforms.
Trump green-lighting, easing restrictions on, and reclassifying marijuana, including allowing for more rEsEArCh and sTuDiEs on it.
ReplyDeleteFortunately he's not trying to throw people in jail for using drugs (and especially for the lighter ones) which is basically useless, has never solved anything, let alone eliminated drug use-- it's just another neocon conservative act, Mr Tough on Crime and the rest of the vigilante nonsense.
Now that our entire society has devolved into total anarchy, with all kinds of bums and psychos unleashed on the normal people, we can see clearly that this was not due to an actual concern with stability or order (which they DGAF about) but rather it was to feed the Prison Industrial Complex as much as possible, by targeting more and more petty / pathetic / harmless crimes or non-crimes and turning them into serious grave offenses accompanied by long jail sentences, when they should have been punished by a slap on the wrist or admonishment at most.
At the same time as these policies have appeared, the actual 1-2% of violent psychos, molesters, rapists, murderers, arsonists, and so on have all been given increasingly lighter and lighter sentences (a few months to a few years, at most), rather than being put in jail permanently. This was a form of minmaxxing for the wannabe administrators and managers and other parasites within the Prison-Complex: remove the hostile dangerous types (let the public deal with them) or keep them for as little as possible, and instead fill up the prison population with soft / harmless types all serving ridiculously long sentences.
(Not that the left-wing NGO homeless complex slumlord types have been a lot better on this issue, compared to the right-wingers. If anything they seem to be cut from the same cloth, but that's another story.)
It's just another case in which, as more and more of our actually-productive industry has been off-shored or destroyed, the wannabe white-collar managers have turned more and more of the mundane parts of American society into giant bureaucratic games, leading to the peak absurdity of 2020 where (from an outsider's POV) they all do the opposite of whatever their stated purpose was, while spending more than ever.
In any case, hopefully this shrinks the already-bloated prison population, especially going into the future.
From the socially conservative POV, which I understand few readers care about (but is still worth saying), I'll admit that I had no idea that this delusion about drugs was so widespread until I stumbled on it.
ReplyDeleteI've never used drugs myself, and I saw this stuff somewhat in the background, but more as a harmless indulgence-- until it exploded, and seems to be rising like crazy after 2020. I don't know when there will be a backlash against this stuff, but it is worth stating: all drugs are harmful and poisonous, there is no such thing as a free panacea or magical solution in any part of life, and they should all be used with caution (if at all).
The hallucinogenics mainly seem to accelerate mental breakdown and degradation, and potentially they also contribute to the early onset of conditions like schizophrenia-- a game of Russian roulette, basically, and not risks any normal person should be taking, let alone as a regular routine part of their life.
People would unironically be better off using nicotine and smoking cigarettes, not because of the health benefits, but precisely because everyone is aware of what the consequences are, meaning that there are no delusions about healing anything-- just indulgence, which I'm fine with if it's understood as such.
In fairness, the attitude of the elites themselves has also radically shifted from being discouraging or shaming or cautioning (which I can still remember during the 2000s) to now indulgent and who-cares and even encouraging-- and they are increasingly dependent on ketamine, psychedelics, weed, etc themselves for their own survival. No wonder the entire society seems deranged.
This is also what's created a delusional industry of studies 'proving' the benefits of living this extreme hardcore lifestyle, even rebranding it as healthy, and encouraging more and more victims to sign up for it, rather than actively warning them. Crazy.
Widespread drug and alcohol use-- as any real expert would tell you-- mainly falls into the deaths of despair category, ie coping or slow suicide (for people who want to slowly destroy themselves rather than pull the trigger, jump off a bridge, etc), and that is in turn due to the destruction caused by libertarian policies. This is why it's way more prominent among whites, no college degree, in formerly industrialized / wealthy areas, etc although by now it seems to be even consuming the elites themselves, in a weird kind of horseshoe theory.

As I've explained before, my suspicion is that the campaign or push on the left is a way of allowing the victims of the society a free source of opium (no different from widespread pornography) so that they have a way of feeling better and indulging themselves a little bit, while the entire thing becomes more and more broken. It's not an actual socialist or leftist policy, let alone is it pro-worker, but more like abandoning people to succumb or even encouraging them-- very cynical.
Unfortunately the conservative / right-wing side is largely complicit, which is why they are too retarded to talk about the dangers, and try to warn people, let alone take a look at the broader problem and what could be done. It would ultimately be traced back to them and their libertarian suicide-cult ideas, so instead they either do nothing and maybe try to make a buck off of it (slumlords) or if they do offer some condemnation, it's rarely an actual warning ('think about the risks, dangers') but rather more like an annoying individualistic lecture ('you're a degenerate'), but always trying to draw attention away from the root cause of the problem.
This is also just another typical, even expected, massive L for the so-called 'conservative Christian' right movement, who are largely just a joke in their ability or willingness to protect, conserve, defend etc the society and especially the areas which-- as conservatives-- are supposed to be their responsibility.

-Prison and asylum members roam the streets, commit crimes, and then get released again
-Nobody has any kids, due to most aspects of life being unaffordable
-Everyone is fat, and everyone is on some drug or another
-Entire neighborhoods and even major cities are filled up with foreigners who don't even speak the language of their country of residence
-Every productive industry has been off-shored
-Pornography is more common on the Internet than mundane normal things like recipes
-More and more of the population grows up without both parents and all kinds of abandonment, neglect, abuse regularly occurs
And so on and so forth. Maybe, if we just give them another four years...
Then you go online, and basically all they do is go around blaming brown people (who have been here for 5 minutes), women, Chyna, and really whichever group they can find, in order to try and deflect the blame, rather than address the increasingly awful state of their society.
Finally, notice where else this phenomenon (deaths of despair) is very common: Eastern Europe.

Genes and high IQ are all well and good, and if anything I'm favor of people being proud of their heritage (assuming it's real, not just an American in disguise), and of course I have a lot of respect for Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, all that good stuff, etc.
However, genes and high IQ are not what actually keeps the lights on, and especially not what keeps a powerful industrial economy running. They are necessary, but the main ingredient was cheap energy, from Russia.
Now that the cheap energy is no longer cheap, or isn't coming (see Nordstream), the entire thing is going up in smoke-- high or no high IQ-- and Germany is joining the UK, France, and the other shithole service sector economies of Europe.

Personal anecdote time, to switch it up a little bit. This is to show that aside from my ideological views as a BASED CONSERVATIVE or whatever, I also have personal experience in this stuff.
ReplyDeleteI was at a boarding school, so we had to share dorms with a bunch of people, bunk-beds, that type of arrangement. I moved around a lot, but this is back when we were living in a more wealthy, liberal, progressive area and whatnot, so there were the usual demographics around.
So of course there were a couple trannies / Beyond Women TM. They looked like autistic and geeky guys, didn't say much, not even remotely feminine, but we just left them alone.
And since it's literally fucking 20-whatever, they all got assigned to share space with the girls, couldn't have it any other way, etc.
Fast-forward a few weeks, and there was some major drama, and a handful of people got kicked out including one of them. Now, in today's world, power-tripping, intrigues, and so on are all fairly common, and I try not to get involved: so I paid no attention to it. I also knew some other people who got kicked out, for minor shit, so figured it was typical irrelevant stuff.
However-- I was talking to a female friend later on, and the subject came up.
She told me they got kicked out for stealing. Naturally I said something like damn hopefully it wasn't anything valuable yada yada, and then she told me... they got kicked out for stealing girl's panties.
Serial killer shit-- and of course if any one of us hereto normal guys had done even a fraction of that, like flirting with a girl too hard or whatever, we would have had our reputation destroyed, banned forever, burned in public, etc. But because this was a left-wing figure, it just got quietly swept under the rug as something normal.
In an earlier post Rintrah wrote about the EU's 2050 emissions standards, I was tempted to ask-- will the E.U itself even make it to 2050, in order to enforce their standards? They are stagnant, falling apart due to their own self-contradictions (and trying to adjust in order to fix things, but ultimately making things worse), and so on. Once the French or the British or Germans elect new parties... it'll be over, no matter how hard the Dutch or the Belgians try to keep them relevant.
ReplyDeleteAs for the future of America's current political parties, it's starting to become clear it's the same. The current system itself will not make, and I don't think both parties will be a part of the future, though maybe they will keep LARPing and LARPing while becoming more and more irrelevant in real time (like they're doing now).
Back when our country worked, we assumed politicians were serious people doing serious things. They still wore suits, they gathered together to debate serious things, they certainly sounded smart (with their graphs and experts and whatnot).
Now that our country doesn't work, and the whole system is failing, it's starting to become clear that these guys are not even close to the best or the smartest or most competent, but really just a bunch of gay debate club nerds from the East Coast.
They get paid to sit around and trade insults on Twitter, or come up with neat sounding 'solutions', but really they have no solutions or answers, it's all repeating and reenacting the stuff that has already been tried (and failed) in previous decades, maybe with added emotional intensity to compensate for how lame it all is. And they have no awareness of how dumb and retarded they come across to the average person. They smugly see themselves as being superior, when if anything I'd say that they're both dumb and incompetent-- certainly not the group you want in charge during a crisis.
Now after decades of leeching off of the public, they've reached a deadlock where they just blame each other for the various problems that are erupting (or point the finger at foreigners). Meanwhile all these problems only get worse, but they're totally unwilling to compromise and dial things down in order to implement a plan.
They'll simply have to be replaced by those with real skills, while they sit around and play their pointless theatrical games-- and if not now, then certainly in the near future as things steadily worsen.
If you step aside from the short-term political slop, and try to view things from the more sensible point of view, the situation is that we are in trillions of dollars in debt, suffering from rapid inflation (which they are merely trying to disguise or shrug off, but is still ongoing). Major nations are already ditching us, forming their own trade bloc, and even some of our allies like the Euros could join them soon if there's a political shake-up.

Funnily enough, we're not even spending less, or maintaining the same level of spending, in the face of imminent disaster: we are spending MORE.
Then you have things like the entire USAID spectacle, ultimately nothing other than a theatrical distraction (for one side to feel like humanitarians, and for the other to feel like cynical realists), but was revealing because of the level of screeching about it-- and yet it was a drop in the bucket, basically, of our national spending. Not to mention that we're getting ready to spend more on a new forever war, (Venezuela) while still funding Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan, etc.
If even cutting one minor and irrelevant area is that difficult, now imagine the super-bloated thing that are bleeding us dry.
Or, for the right-wing version, imagine trying to raise various taxes to even the levels of the 90s (let alone the 50s). Republicans would collapse!
The elites are too corrupt and greedy, thanks to decades of easy money, and there are too many parasites leeching off the US, which even minor change is impossible-- and precisely at a time when we need radical measures. So the only way 'out' of the current predicament is for the whole thing to collapse.
I'll also say, now that I'm talking about social issues, that there's currently an attempt on the part of Millennials to blame Zoomers for every single problem they've caused, now that the tide is really turning against them.

The fact that actual real young people (Gen Z) shifted big-time to Trump should have been a wake-up call for anyone still consuming that slop, as well for the ones peddling it, but they chose to ignore reality in order to keep feeding their delusions.

The Democrats of the 2010s and 2020 were the absolute worst anyone has ever seen: killing Trump supporters, stealing elections, looting and rioting, ruining anyone's lives for disagreeing with them or not being completely in favor of Ukraine / BLM / vaccines, just one retarded thing after another. And all of it with this absolute moral certitude and divine fury, while at the same it was basically driven by people who belonged in prisons and mental hospitals.

As I said earlier, it's deeply retarded and cynical to endlessly seethe, whine, and rage at Israel for attacking the USS Liberty half a century ago, while literally slurping up money and doing favors for the people who were responsible for 9/11: the definition of being an absolute spineless cuck, with no standards whatsoever. And, to praise Israel (things I never thought I'd say), at least that was a warship and not some random buildings with no military purpose.
Now that the media is simply Millennial-slop (new) replacing Boomer-slop (lame, old), though just as emotional and dumb, part of that shift has been rebranding the Israelis from the military heroes, bringers of civilization, Judeo-Christian values, settlers of a rugged wasteland, and so on to being the villains of the story.
In fairness, it's hard to tell that story about superior moral values when all they do is bomb women and children, and it's hard for the audience to swallow the military triumph LARP as they're getting forced out of Northern Israel by Hezbollah, having their ports shut down by the Houthis (along with sporadic missile strikes), and getting bombed by Iran, all while burning trillions of dollars.
But really most of this is not logical or rational, it's simply due to Millennials being anti-Boomers, so they just want to invert whatever narrative the Boomers told themselves. None of it is concerned with stopping America's meddling in the M-E, the totally parasitic defense department and contractors (who are really to blame for foreign wars), and so on: it's just making this tiny nation the villain, so the followers have someone to hate during the show, and so there's no criticism of the state department or CIA or anything like that.
I think it's really a form of controlled opposition, abandoning the Israelis (in terms of the narrative, rather than military support), and redirecting all the fury at years of wasteful wars at them, while the bigger problems like the Saudis, the Pentagon, are ignored for obvious reasons.
Now what we're supposed to believe is something like this. Invading Iraq and Afghanistan? Israel manipulated the poor innocent Pentagon and Lindsey Graham into doing it! In many ways like other 'smart' ethnic groups living in America, like the Chinese, Indians, etc, more biased towards being elite liberals, living in big cities, high IQ (but not many hands-on professions), that type of thing.
On the other hand, they have a long and well-recorded history of scandals, gypsy behavior, Ponzi schemes, and other abuses against their host nations. They certainly have parasite / anti-social tendencies, which obviously I don't support at all.
Unfortunately the cocksuckers on the right are too pro-elitist to bring that up, though. Their basic philosophy is that anything the masses do is inferior, normie, pathetic, etc-- but on the other hand if a Jew runs a financial scam, or an Indian rips you off with fake medicine, that's the height of genius, Faustian spirit, amazing accomplishment.
The West did not become great, or rich, by rewarding parasitic behavior, fraud, and Ponzi schemes in general.
Unfortunately a lot of America these days *is* a scam, some of it being done by foreigners and some of it being done by natives (depending on the industry), and this makes it very difficult to act against fraud in general. Dishonest people make sure to punish honesty / integrity, because a little bit of it would threaten to expose the whole thing, in the same way that losers will get angry when anyone confronts them with reality.
The prime example of that would be Zelenskyy, just the latest in a long tradition of ripping off and selling out the host nation-- and anyone not calling that out is either totally corrupt or hopelessly naive. He really is the mother of all scammers.

My only hope is that they flee to Israel next, once that takes place (which it will, no matter how hard Trump attempts to delay it). If they can all gather together there, hopefully we can all watch them get annihilated by ballistic missiles from Iran or Lebanon in 2035. That won't be getting our taxpayer money back, but it will provide a kind of karmic satisfaction, and it's an outcome that in many ways they've worked very hard to deserve.

Back in the 2010s, they would've called him a 'conspiracy theorist' and cancelled him for not saying that this trash was the best entertainment in the world-- but now that Zoomers make up the majority of the audience, he can indulge in his instincts and tell the truth about what's gone wrong, and people (including younger audiences) will appreciate him for it.
He does overdo it a little biiiiit on the whole 'tuff guy' thing, but it's worth looking into a little bit because he really exposes how the entirety of the sport of basketball got rewritten to give Millennials a trophy. From my own experience, it seems like the most into conspiracy theories (at least on the Internet) have always been Gen-Xers. It could be garden-variety stuff, like thinking this or that is rigged, and go up from there to viewing the whole gov't as being controlled by Martians or whatever.

On the other hand, Millennials seem to be the most smug and dismissive of all that stuff. It's like they all have a tendency to regurgitate whatever slop some guy with a beard and some graphs is selling, it doesn't matter how absurd it all is, they just can't help but bring themselves to agree with it. Same thing with the whole "Science" thing or X-based (reason-based, evidence-based, policy-based, whatever) they just can't resist it.
I think it stems from being sheltered. Basically the more time you spend in a passive vegetative environment, isolated from everyone else, the less your brain gets to actually develop. This is unrelated to adult IQ, which is still there. It's more about attitudes, beliefs, habits and so on. People like that wind up needing an expert or pseudo-expert to give them an explanation, just like mom and dad swooping in to tell them what to believe on some issue, they never ask any questions, and they have a similar level of belief in whatever the experts have told them (mom and dad wouldn't lie to you).
Whereas if you got a decent amount of experience as a kid and as a teenager, it means your brain is more developed and active. People like that will be more in the suspicious, cynical, direction: reading a motive into things, even if sometimes there isn't one, not just going with the default official narrative of the day.

ReplyDeleteI'm posting this little mini-rant here, in an older post, to signal that it's out-dated and I'm planning to move on from shit-slinging in the future, bury the hatchet of generational trauma, and everything else:
I know it sounds rude, and I shouldn't keep coming back to the exact same topics, but I'm starting to really hate Millennials. Especially now that I've been more exposed to them, since I fortunately don't have a lot of them in my family (more biased towards Gen X, and the Silent Gen).
IRL I was fooled by the passivity and blankness and autism into thinking that they were meek or gentle people, but now I've learned that basically that's not true at all.
They're essentially a kind of lost generation reboot. I'm going to avoid their content in the future-- it's not even funny how much better off you are reading older people's content (anyone Gen X and above) in terms of basic information, honesty, and level of insight.
And it's not a question of experience, but really just the widespread terrible hostile anti-social attitude they all have.
Yeah I know, it's a very harsh assessment, and there are exceptions here and there, but generally speaking you can always tell who's a certain age on the Internet and it boils down to something as simple as communicating in a sincere / clear / mature tone, being willing to admit to being wrong or uncertain about this or that, and really just the basic attitude of politeness and respect for others, even if they aren't identical to you in their beliefs or the exact same age or whatever-- with 99% of them, you can instantly tell because they all have this tone of contemptuous ironic snarky dismissive superiority.
I could tolerate some of this stuff it it were *actually* coming from a genuine place of superiority, the way some great scientists or artists were terrible people personally but indispensable for society, or if they were some kind of superior generation that had accomplished breathtaking things and were proud about it, naturally-- but we all know who we're talking about here. It's just an entire group of people that got funneled through college by the Boomers, who made sure that every single test was rigged in their favor for their entire lives, and watered almost everything down so that they would never face any serious opposition until their 30s and 40s, and while patting them on the back at the same time. The average Millennials has no intelligence or ambition or humility or curiosity or knowledge to show for it, despite being 4 or 5 times more 'educated' in credential terms than any other generation, and most of them have never had to develop a single useful trait, it's basically a midwit hive of HR women (who are into true crime) and skinny-fat beard guys (who like craft beer).
Not exactly the peak of humanity.
And then when one does show up that isn't as profoundly broken and dumb as the others, everyone acts like it's a kind of miracle, precisely because of how abysmally low the standards are for them-- shocking event, it has a brain and it moves!

There's already a big generational divide among "young people" between the Woke / BLM / shoot up the school types and the Zoomers who were not into that shit, or too young, and are now hostile to it.
And even the ones who are into shooting things are going after politicians and healthcare CEOs, not a bunch of random classmates who never did anything to you.
It's the same reason why the 25-and-under cohort increasingly hates teachers, which is showing up a little bit now on the Right. It has nothing to do with attention spans or Tik Tok, but really just the typical attitude of endlessly lecturing you about your crimes and inherent sinfulness, from a position of haughty superiority, while not even being close to impressive or superior themselves.
At roots it's a very toxic anti-social attitude, where even expressing sincere interest in anyone else is seen as a sign of weakness (an admission of not being an all-knowing superior genius) and so every expression of curiosity, sincerity, nostalgia, open-mindedness, 'weakness', or whatever just has to be policed out of existence.

This another basic point, that isn't really appreciated as much by older people: Millennial irony isn't really actual irony.
They don't use it to make fun of people that are pretentious, arrogant, absurdly out-of-touch with the real world, or other basic uses of irony. It's more like a tool for mass conformity, which gets used on the people who *are* interesting, non-conformist, humble, polite, etc in order to weed out the good traits and replace them with evil ones.
It's become a kind of tool for enforcing conformity (as seen on Reddit, and even IRL) but doing that in the gayest way possible rather than confronting someone directly.

My sincere congratulations for taking what could be a useful tool for doing analysis, solving problems, and learning / discovering things and instead turning that into a device for committing mass suicide-- which is why now nobody trusts 'The Science', if anything it has anti-credibility, and everyone with a brain hates 'The Experts'.
Another reason I think sports have become extremely alienating to watch (for casual spectators, I'm not some fanatic for that stuff) is that they're on so many drugs compared to the past, that they now actually resemble machines or robots rather than just looking like the best jocks from high school-- they just never seem to slow down or show any signs of exhaustion.

It was very revealing when a bunch of athletes had sudden heart attacks, during the vaxx fiasco year. Obviously people blamed the useless vaccine, which did cause myocarditis, but I also imagine it must have interacted with whatever cocktail of chemicals they give them, and their unhealthy lifestyle too (all that extreme stress is terrible for your heart).
Then you hear people talk about 'improved fitness methods' and 'genetic advantages'-- yeah right, LOL.
I understand that drinking beer and smoking cigs everyday is bad for you, and so athletes that avoid that will be better as a result-- somehow I doubt that's what's going on, though, when people put on 30lbs of muscle in a month.
I also understand that blacks and Africans have certain physical advantages over white people, and this means they're often more over-represented at the extremes yadayadayada-- but that doesn't mean they don't get tired, and when you see these people who never seem to feel exhaustion, it's just the result of being on all kinds of insane substances provided to them by wacko doctors and 'fitness professionals', not because there's some gene out there that does that. The physical advantages are an extra edge of course, but not even close to the whole story.
