Now that I have my own safe space, I can finally admit to one of my most non-PC beliefs, which would get me banned on every Internet forum, sub-culture, etc (since they control them).
As I said before about Internet People, just as many of them are misfits, the majority of them are also nerds, in fact probably around 95%. The two syndromes overlap.
Unfortunately the nerds have rewritten the entirety of human history (also with some help from Hollywood) to make it sound as if they are the true geniuses, the real gifted ones, the mavericks, bla bla bla, unjustly punished by mediocre society, etc etc etc.
The truth is that, despite this grandiose narrative, you will never find a nerd, autist, or geek (on any Internet sub-culture) with amazing discoveries in math or science or engineering, profound knowledge of art or literature or linguistics, capable of writing symphonies or painting masterpieces, or really doing anything remotely respectable or cool-- and this is because nerds are dumb, unoriginal, mediocre, slop-consuming weirdos.
The nerds do brag about certain things, in fact all they do is brag about how unique and special they are, but many of their achievements are either incredibly common or a sign of brain damage.
Typically this involves something to do with their ever-growing list of mental illnesses (it's kwalled not bweing a neuwotypical DAAAAAD!), their mind-blowing knowledge of Wikipedia, their adherence to various holier-than-thou Internet ideologies (which however revolve entirely around online preening, and seemingly preclude real-world action), their hatred of the vapid sluts who ignored them throughout all of high school (fuckin' women!), their habit of regurgitating meaningless phrases, and their ability to perform very minor janitorial work on the computer.
That last one, which is more the result of them wasting hours on the Internet than a sign of giftedness (see the completely broken state of the online world, which has been built by these same geniuses), they view as a key that unlocks mastery over every subject on Earth, despite never reading, learning, or doing anything.
In fact, you will be astonished at the level of smug contempt that they have for every job and subject on Earth, and you will be equally astonished by the basic ignorance they have of every job and subject on Earth-- truly an impressive combination!
If the nerds were capable of creativity, and had an art form, it would be more than anything else the revenge fantasy-- bitter masturbation is all they are really capable of-- and this is the only area of life where the rejects do show signs of creativity, intelligence, and originality.
All nerd sub-cultures, ie most of the Internet, are defined by their endless fixation with punishing others.
The fact that they can only fantasize about harming other people, never doing anything good or praiseworthy, is revealing of what the core of nerdiness really is, which is just a profound degree of self-absorption (bordering on autism or sociopathy). They are simply not capable of making genuine connections with others, and they worship themselves to such a degree that social integration into a larger unit than their individual selves is impossible.
Rather than view their basic failure to adjust to reality as indicative of some deficit on their part, and work on fixing themselves to be more aligned with the world, the retarded nerds blame reality instead, and then spend their entire lives seething about the fact, concocting theories to explain it, and waiting for everyone else to realize how smart they are (this never happens, which is what masturbation is for).
Another very common from the nerds is all this talk about "masculine" and "systematizing", which is derived from a theory proposed by a researcher named Simon Baron Cohen, which you can read more about here:
ReplyDeletehttps://www.theguardian.com/education/2003/apr/17/research.highereducation
As usual, the autists themselves barely bother comprehending anything, let alone sorting the various elements of the theory from each other and then cross-checking them with reality, it's just 'we autists are the uber-masculine system-builders, the creators of civilization, unlike you effeminate empathetic sheeple with inferior brains' bla bla bla...
Autistics and endless smug self-praise-- truly a remarkable combination! Such humble people, LOL.
I don't disagree with the theory per se, but I find the use of the terms to be somewhat overblown and misleading-- in that whole 2010s way of rationalizing and rebranding various forms of deviance, mental illness, and addiction as 'akshually based' and 'secret superpowers' (ie, trannies, homos, etc) rather than just being honest and straightforward.
But then idea was that being honest = bullying, genocide of the nerds, etc, so we just have to shut up and pretend that these guys are whatever it is they say they are, in this case amazing geniuses.
After so many witch-hunts and school shootings, all done by the tolerant sensitive victim types, I think we can start to dispense with this approach and recognize that in reality the dumbest thing you can do with such people, and the least helpful, is indulging their delusions and self-destructive tendencies.
The mature thing would be to tell them they have real problems, but unfortunately today's useless adults are too focused on getting off on self-righteousness, instead of doing anything genuinely good or useful.
Now, moving onto the autists themselves, one of the best measures of testosterone exposure is the digit ratio-- as someone on the higher-T / masculine side, the truth is that I've never found autists to be the slightest bit masculine, in the conventional sense, but rather more like (in their own words) 'beta males', essentially guys who are less adult, developed, and mature than their peers.
ReplyDeleteComparing autists with stereotypically masculine masculine personalities / stock figures reveals very little overlap between the two-- how much does the average shut-in nerd have in common with rock-stars, cowboys, jocks, athletes, helicopter pilots, firefighters, etc? Almost nothing.
Rather it feels more like someone who is insanely childish, almost like a 7 yr old in an adult body, and that seems to be a more accurate way of understanding sperg behavior.
(They also have neotenous features, closer to a child rather than a mature grown-up adult.)
Comparing their personality traits with those of the average male adult:
-Adults focus on others, autists are self-focused.
-Adults keep a lid on it, autists are extremely whiny (toddlers crying for their mommies).
-Adults move on, get over it, and adjust themselves to the external world. Autists remain stuck, come up with revenge fantasies or indulge in escapism, and demand the world adjust to them.
-Adults enjoy interacting with strangers, and seek out social contact. Autists are shut-ins and are afraid of other people who are not like them.
-Adults use intuition and emotion to navigate the world (flexible), autists use logic (rigid).
-Adults are mildly superstitious, but autists believe in magic (healing potions, magical words, men who act like men and think like men and look like men but are akshually women, etc).
-Adults take care of their own business, autists are either dysfunctional slobs or forced to rely on mommy figures for basic cleanliness, survival, etc.
-Adults focus on the gist of things / the broader meaning, autists hyper-fixate on some irrelevant point.
-Adult men are sexually active (not in some creepy rapist way, but in the sense of leading the interaction), autists are sexually passive (they expect an army of horny women to magically teleport to their bedrooms, with no effort on their part, and then whine when this doesn't happen).
-Adults know how to socialize instinctively, autists require explicit rules and guide-books.
Just not masculine at all, like I said, more like a child.
Similarly, I wouldn't call their style of thinking 'systematizing'-- I am a systems guy myself, and have an interest in building models, understanding the world, etc.
ReplyDeleteI have interacted extensively with the midwit autists, or listened to them bloviate on podcasts (like Elon), and have really developed a fine contempt for their way of thinking-- I find no trace of intelligence in it.
It almost always boils down to fitting a square peg in a round hole, and seems to result in catastrophic blow-ups whenever it is applied to reality (Nature's way of lashing out at them), but which they are too blind to foresee.
A systematic approach looks at the whole, examines the various parts and their relationships, tries to understand how they interact with each other and how the entire thing functions. It also accounts for 2nd-order effects, path dependency, etc.
Systems people therefore try to look at the long run, rather than the immediate, and try to reach a zoomed-out broader understanding from which to assess things (and also try to remove excessive emotion, in favor of clinical neutrality).
Of course there is no perfect model or system, and reality eludes our attempts at understanding etc, but that's the overall goal.
Spergs seem to do the exact opposite of this: they hyper-focus and maximally zoom in on one aspect, usually for no real reason (it's very hard to predict and in many cases will seem totally trivial to others), and then obsessively fixate over that over and over and over again, always returning to it, once again seemingly for no broader goal.
Despite claiming to be neutral and unbiased unlike the bla bla bla normies, usually they inject an insane amount of tribalistic emotion into every question, rather than letting things sort themselves out.
And finally they do not seem to even know that there is such a thing as a long term / broader POV, etc-- everything takes place in a here-and-now, eternal present, just an endless treadmill. There is no cause-and-effect, no momentum, it's like everything is possible. I find it very strange.
The whole thing strikes me as an obsessive, fixating, myopic, fetishistic, narrow-minded, shoehorning type of thinking, which is why they're so useless outside of the simplistic computer world (with its focus on autistic literalness) and extremely annoying and useless in just about every other profession.
Future posts in this series will look closely at the differences between hentai and furry porn, and their respective merits, while also discussing the top 10 best excuses to give your parents when they stumble upon your porn stash ('it's art, daaaad!').
