The whole thing was 1000% fake.
The Venezuelans are certainly not fighters, so they took a bunch of money in exchange for handing over their leader, and allowing the FAFO American military to stage a public operation -- when the dilapidated US military comes away with a win, you know there must have been something going on behind the scenes.
However now the MAGAtards get to brag, 'Heh, no more regime change, no more bringing democracy to the 3rd world savages... now we just go in there and take what we want. Fuck around, find out... heh.'
Well, despite this verbalistic slop being posted everywhere on social media, they still have no actual physical control over the oil or influence over the Venezuelan gov't -- they never have, and never will (they only do in the deranged minds of Trump cult members).
And even if they did, it would take years to build up the infrastructure, assuming our shithole economy even has the people with the skills required for those tasks (doubtful). Not to mention that the amount of oil that is being sent here is so tiny, that it won't even put a dent in the upcoming Iran-war-related economic collapse.
Such laughable BS!
The important thing to understand, and then remember, is that collapsing empires don't suddenly resuscitate, regain all their powers, and then go on to conquer new territory -- this literally has never happened, in all of history. They just die, and that is what America is doing now, with one defeat after another: in Iran, in Lebanon, in Venezuela, in Yemen, in Ukraine... and maybe soon in Taiwan, too, for good measure.
Remembering this will keep you from being scammed into thinking that there will be a W somewhere down the line -- there won't be.
All that's left during the collapsing stage is concocting, and selling, fan fiction, in the hopes that the audience will be dumb or desperate enough to suspend disbelief, disconnect from reality, abandon all logic, etc and not notice just how ridiculously implausible the slop actually is, and how obviously it is contradicted by the actually-occurring events, which anyone whose brain isn't plugged in 24/7 to a digital hallucination machine can notice.
The billionaires are betting on the audience members being in such desperate straits that they'll abandon all their dignity, just to get a little rush of copium.
(And with the Trump Cult, it seems they were correct -- but you shouldn't stoop to that!)
I also wanted to provide an update to my old post on the whiny IQ slop, now that I'm revisiting things I wrote some time ago.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I rely too much on these basic contrasts, and then these constructions become a little bit cliche, but at the same time I feel it is worth pointing out -- namely that the actual behavior of these so-called genius IQ types closely resembles that of blacks living in an actual ghetto, rather than anything worth aspiring to or joining. Just look at how much time they spend complaining and whining about their lot in life, while doing nothing to change it, and in fact competing over who can come up with an ideology that distributes the blame for their poor personal outcomes onto as many generic strangers as possible -- no different from claims of systemic racism.
'Suh-cyety dissssssscriminates against smart people...'
Sure thing, buddy, whatever you say, buddy...
Meanwhile they don't act intelligent, in the slighest: when do they mention the books they've read, or what they've produced or created or noticed or discovered (that is noteworthy or insightful -- usually you find them saying the exact same slop you might read anywhere else, from less pretentious people who don't make claims to amazing genius). Or the niche / interesting subjects only smart or academic people get into, which others might not have heard of? They don't do any of those things.
In fact, I almost get the sense that mentioning higher-level topics -- like Elizabethan revenge tragedies, or differential equations models, or what have you -- would only elicit a blank look of incomprehension, followed by smug dismissal, from these so-called cultured geniuses.
This is because they have built an entire culture that divorces praise from accomplishment, and which validates stagnation, mediocrity, and failure -- the more time you spend ensconced in it, the more banal, unremarkable, and even retarded you come across to normal and even lower IQ people. Atrophy and eventual degeneration; the result of dwelling in an echochamber and substituting cheap meaningless praise from fellow members of the circlejerk for actual well-earned applause.
After all, if being born or having illustrious ancestors is now an achievement in and of itself, why bother learning anything, or doing anything productive or creative -- just stare at yourself in the mirror, since now you are the ultimate achievement!
This is like if I said that since some of my Spanish ancestors were very distinguished painters (if you go far enough and wide enough, you can get to Goya or Velasquez) -- well, I might as well be a great painter, and act like one too, despite never having even touched a paint-brush!
Or hell, Edward Lorenz (inventor of chaos theory) was from New England, along with I'm sure a few other scientists and mathematicians -- it turns out I have family from N-E, on the American side. So not only am I an artistic savant, I'm also a math genius! And with no effort required, without actually doing anything in either of those subjects.
Ain't that just grand???
It's shocking just how badly the entire neoliberal culture has devolved into pure metrics-fetishizing masturbation, putting the cart before the horse, and valuing pointless stats-focused competitions over any real or productive outcome -- and across the board, everywhere you look, whether left or right, artistic or scientific, mainstream or niche. (Maybe worth discussing more, but all for now.)
Forgot to mention Cervantes -- now you know why I am such a genius writer, too.
ReplyDeleteNope, didn't have to read or study or anything like that: it was in the genes, baby!
Millennial IQcopers reading this will are probably utterly disoriented and lost, given the weird names and concepts I just brought up (Elizabethan tragedy, Cervantes, Goya, etc) -- obsessive references to Western civ notwithstanding, this may be their first encounter with these things.
ReplyDeleteDon't be afraid, though: look them up sometime, maybe borrow a book about them, read more, etc.
Getting acquainted with classic culture will not fix you guys's severe retardation (incurable) but it will give you a little bit of class and some perspective, which you sorely need!
It's worth noting that people, whether random normies you encounter IRL or Internet People, will never say something like,
ReplyDelete'Y'know, I bet you'd get a top percentile score on the old SAT, (before it was altered to inflate the egos of younger generations).'
When / if they praise your intelligence, they're way more likely to say that you're insightful or interesting, to adopt some of your ideas, or to compliment you in some other way that is pointing at what you have done in the real world, and how you have used your energy in a pro-social, productive, way -- because ultimately nobody really cares about where you score in terms of metrics, or your abstract intangible potential to accomplish something.
And nobody will praise anti-social uses of energy -- being self-indulgent, lazy or anti-social, refusing to learn anything -- regardless of how abstract and complicated these excuses and defense mechanisms get.
A very simple point, which members of the IQ cirlejerk fail to get.
